IC Markets Support from India: Which Channel, and by When

Help Centre, email and live chat stated around the clock — against one withdrawal deadline that falls before most Indian desks are occupied.

Account minimums USD 0 (Raw Spread, cTrader Raw Spread, Standard), USD 5,000 (Raw Pro), USD 100,000 (Raw Pro+)  ·  Margin is charged per tier, not at one flat rate: 1:5000 on lots 0-25, 1:3000 on lots 25-50, 1:1000 above 50 on MetaTrader, capped at 1:1000 on cTrader  ·  Withdrawal request cut-off: 12:00 AEST or AEDT, roughly 06:30 to 07:30 IST

Support being available around the clock is not the same as your problem being solved around the clock. Three routes are published — Help Centre, email and live chat — and the one that matters most for money is none of them: withdrawals run to a fixed daily cut-off in Australian time that falls before breakfast in India. This page maps problem to channel, converts that cut-off into IST, lists the four rules no agent can waive, and says which questions belong to the Reserve Bank of India rather than to a broker. Independent guide, checked 2 September 2026, and CFD trading carries a high risk of losing money.

Which channel actually moves which problem

Pick the row by what you need to come back, not by what feels fastest. Anything you may have to quote later — a fee, an eligibility answer, a cost dispute — belongs in writing from the start, because a chat transcript you did not save is not evidence. None of the published channels is India-specific: no office and no Hindi-language line are advertised, and replies come in English.

ChannelBest forWhen
Help CentreQuestions the broker has already answered in writing about funding, withdrawal and platformsBefore opening a ticket at all, since it costs nothing and often ends the matter
Live chatShort factual checks where a saved transcript is not the pointStated around the clock, every day of the week
EmailAnything you might need to quote back later: fees, eligibility, a disputed chargeAny hour, and the reply is the record — file it before you need it

Neither an India office nor a Hindi-language line appears on the support pages checked on 2 September 2026, and the broker's own site offers no Indian locale — the market is served in English.

Match the question to the right desk before writing. Account terms, charges and cut-offs belong with support. Whether a remittance is permitted at all belongs with the Reserve Bank of India at rbi.org.in, which lists IC Markets as entry 22 on its Alert List and has stated that margin remittances to an overseas counterparty are not a permitted purpose under the Liberalised Remittance Scheme. And a question that turns out to be about a market rather than an account is not a support ticket at all — the daily market summary carries that, with the session times converted to IST.

Before you call it stuck: the normal waiting times

MethodDepositTypical withdrawal time
Cards and the e-wallet routesStated as instant on the way in3-5 business days on a card, occasionally as long as ten, and never more than that card deposited
International bank wire2-5 business days before the funds appearUp to fourteen days, and intermediary or beneficiary banks may take a cut on the way

Those durations start after the cut-off, not after you click. The broker charges no deposit or withdrawal fee of its own, so every cost in that table is somebody else's — and for an Indian client the largest of them is usually the currency conversion, since no account settles in rupees.

The clock that decides how fast your money moves

Support hours and withdrawal hours are not the same thing. Support is stated as available around the clock, seven days a week. Withdrawals run to a single daily deadline: the request cut-off is 12:00 AEST or AEDT, which lands at roughly 07:30 IST during the Australian winter and 06:30 IST during its summer. Requests logged before the cut-off are processed the same day; anything after it waits for the next business day.

For a reader in India that puts the deadline before most people are at a desk. A withdrawal filed at nine in the morning IST has already missed that day entirely, and the clock only starts after it: card withdrawals then take 3-5 business days and occasionally as long as ten, while international bank wires can run to fourteen days and may attract intermediary or beneficiary charges along the way. Filing the evening before, rather than the morning of, routinely saves a full business day.

Four rules support cannot waive

These are structural, and raising them as complaints wastes a ticket. Money must return to the source it came from, so an e-wallet deposit leaves by the same wallet and a FasaPay-funded account is withdrawn by bank wire. A card withdrawal is capped at the amount that card deposited, with anything above it going out by another previously used method or by wire. Third-party payments are refused outright: the account holder and the payment instrument must be the same person, with joint accounts accepted only where the client is one of the parties. And a processing fee may be applied to a withdrawal if the deposited funds were never actually used for trading. The broker itself charges no deposit or withdrawal fee; the costs that do appear are third-party ones, which is exactly where the rupee conversion sits.

What to send, so the first reply is the useful one

A support agent will check your account against the broker's published terms, so quote them back. Name the account type and platform, because Raw Spread carries USD 3.50 per lot per side while Standard carries none and prices from 0.8 pips, and because MetaTrader accounts sit on New York servers while cTrader sits in London. Give the time of the event in server time rather than IST — New York runs 9 hours 30 minutes behind IST from March to November and 10 hours 30 minutes behind for the rest of the year — and say which of the ten base currencies the account settles in. For a cost query, attach the statement line rather than describing it. There is no India office and no Hindi-language line advertised, so write in English and expect the reply in English.

The questions that belong to the RBI, not to support

A broker's support desk can explain the broker's own terms and nothing beyond them. Whether an Indian resident may remit margin abroad is not a question it can answer: the Reserve Bank of India has stated that remittances for margin trading with an overseas counterparty are not a permitted purpose under the Liberalised Remittance Scheme, the Foreign Exchange Management Act channel most retail transfers use, and IC Markets appears as entry 22 on the RBI's Alert List, revised 19 November 2025. The counterparty is Raw Trading Ltd of Seychelles, under FSA Securities Dealer licence SD018, and no Indian regulator licenses that relationship. Those are matters for rbi.org.in and for your own adviser. This page is independent, states no legal position, and CFD trading carries a high risk of losing money.

Frequently asked questions

Is there an India-language phone line for IC Markets support?
None is advertised. The pages checked on 2 September 2026 list a Help Centre, email and live chat only, with no India office and no Hindi-language line, and the broker's own site publishes no Indian locale — correspondence is in English.
Can support help with the RBI Alert List listing or FEMA/LRS funding questions?
Only the half of the question that belongs to the broker. An agent can explain account terms, cut-offs and charges; whether a remittance is permitted at all is decided by the Reserve Bank of India, which has stated that margin remittances to an overseas counterparty are not a permitted purpose under the Liberalised Remittance Scheme and which lists IC Markets as entry 22 on its Alert List. Read that at rbi.org.in.
